Sofreh is a type of flat-weave rug that is generally used for bread-making, preservation and a spread on the floor to put out for lunch and dinner. The design of this Sofreh features a central lozenge medallion on a plain field followed by loose zig-zags in the border. The use of colour in this Sofreh transformed it into a creative piece of art.
