Persian Gabbeh runners are authentic handwoven runners made by tribal people in Fars Province of Persia. Being made of Hand Spun Wool and coarser knots, Gabbeh is an extremely thicker version of a Persian Runner.
This beautiful Gabbeh runner is made by Qashqai Tribe in Persia. The field features minimalistic animal, plant and human motifs in four corners on lovely earthy tones. The sunset red tone is used both in the border and in the central medallion brings the design to life. There are color changes within the field and border called “Abrash” which comes from different batches of wool and organic dyes. This results in stunning stripes of different tones in one color.
This unique Gabbeh runner will introduce gorgeous colors and warmth to your hallway. It has a very thick wool pile and feels soft under feet.
