Persian Gabbeh runners are authentic handwoven rugs made by tribal people in Fars Province of Persia. Being made of Hand Spun Wool and coarser knots, Gabbeh is an extremely thicker version of a Persian Rug.
This beautiful Gabbeh runner is made by Qashqai Tribe in Persia. The field features minimalistic animal and human motifs on a lovely red tone. The movement in the borders finishes the design beautifully. There are color changes within the field and border called “Abrash” which comes from different batches of wool and organic dyes. This results in stunning stripes of different tones in one color.
