Persian Gabbeh rugs are authentic handwoven rugs made by tribal people in Fars Province of Persia. Being made of Hand Spun Wool and coarser knots, Gabbeh is extremely thicker version of a Persian Rug.
There are color changes within the field and border called “Abrash” which comes from different batches of wool and organic dyes. This results in stunning stripes of different tones in one color.
The featured Gabbeh rug is made by Qashqai tribe in Persia. She has a panel design with animal and tree motives on it. This abstract Gabbeh rug could be an ideal addition to a bedroom or kids room and it will add warmth to any space.
