The featured vintage kilim is handmade in Persia. It has one of the traditional diamond design in the middle and stunning borders. The color harmony of this gorgeous kilim is admirable, and the colors are slightly muted due to its age. There are color changes within the field and border called “Abrash” which comes from different batches of wool and organic dyes. This results in stunning stripes of different tones in one color. The field color is a muted tone of indigo blue with peach color central diamond that sits proudly in the middle of the plain field. The colors of the motives consist of blue tones and brown with beige highlights. This piece is one of a kind and full of character and it will add history and color to any living area or bedrooms.
