Persian Tribal Rugs are sustainable products as they are made of pure wool and vegetable dyes.
The featured rug is hand-knotted by tribal people from Shiraz, Persia. On the gorgeous field, there features a central geometric medallion decorated with animal and plant motifs. The abstract flowers in the borders complete this tribal piece beautifully. The welcoming color palette involves the warmest red tone as the background color as well as blues, greens, ivory and orange tones. It has a very thick wool pile and feels soft under feet. There are color changes within the field called “Abrash” which comes from different batches of wool and organic dyes. This results in stunning stripes of different tones in one color.
This is an ideal rug for a living area or bedroom, and it will add history and charm to any space.
