This vintage handmade Kilim Rug is from the city of Shiraz in Persia. She is made from pure wool and natural dyes. She has a geometric design, intricate all-over pattern and admirable borders. The color of the kilim is slightly muted due to its age. The color palette is elegant and involves coral tones, olive green, sky blue & navy-blue and latte tones. There are color changes within the field and border called “Abrash” which comes from different batches of wool and organic dyes. This results in stunning stripes of different tones in one color.
This vintage floor art is in excellent condition, and it will make a great addition to farmhouses, country houses or modern interiors.
