This stunning vintage Persian flat weave kilim is made by tribal artisans of Iran. It has all-over stripy design with repeating geometric pattern. The sophisticated color palette of this gorgeous kilim consists of peach tones and salmon with tan highlights and finished with sky blue. The earthy tones on this kilim rug are slightly muted due to its age. There are color changes within the field and border called “Abrash” which comes from different batches of wool and organic dyes. This results in stunning stripes of different tones in one color.
Vintage rugs in our collection are in great condition. Based on their age signs of wear or imperfection are to be expected. We believe that this is part of their unique charm. All of our vintage rugs are freshly washed and repaired in case it needs.
