Persian Gabbeh rugs are authentic handwoven rugs made by tribal artisans in Fars Province of Persia. Being made of Hand Spun Wool and coarser knots, Gabbeh is an extremely thicker version of a Persian Rug.
The featured Gabbeh Rug is handmade by Qashqai tribe residing in Fars province of Iran. This gorgeous funky design gabbeh rug is one-of-a-kind and can complement retro and/or modern interiors. The background color is a soft red tone decorated with citrus tones and a dark navy-blue color. The skillful use of ivory color brings out the gorgeous details in the design. There are color changes within the field called “Abrash” which comes from different batches of wool. This results in stunning stripes of different tones in one color.
The design shows a unique central medallion and unusual floral patterns in the field and borders. This truly one of a kind Persian rug will cheer up your space.
