Persian Gabbeh rugs are authentic handwoven rugs made by tribal people in the Fars Province of Persia. Being made of Hand Spun Wool and coarser knots, Gabbeh is an extremely thicker version of a Persian Rug.
The featured Vintage Gabbeh rug is handmade by Lori Tribe in Persia. This gorgeous funky design gabbeh rug is one-of-a-kind and can complement retro and/or modern interiors. The background color is a rich red color and it is decorated with charming zigzag design together with diamonds in the middle. The color palette further includes cream, navy-blue and chocolate brown. There are color changes within the field called “Abrash” which comes from different batches of wool. This results in stunning stripes of different tones in one color.
This admirable piece will be an ideal addition to any interior and it will add warmth to any space.
