Persian Gabbeh rugs are authentic handwoven rugs made by tribal people in Fars Province of Persia. Being made of Hand Spun Wool and coarser knots, Gabbeh is extremely thicker version of a Persian Rug.
The featured Rizbaf/Fine Gabbeh rug is made by Qashqai Tribe in Persia. On the field, there are colorful geometric patterns on virgin wool background color. There are color changes within the field called “Abrash” which comes from different batches of wool. This results in stunning stripes of different tones in one color.
This abstract Rizbaf Gabbeh rug could be an ideal addition to a bedroom or kids room and it will add warmth to any space.
Please note this fine Gabbeh is called Rizbaf due to its dense knots and fine weave.
