The featured rug is hand-knotted by tribal people from Shiraz, Persia. The design of the field includes a geometric medallion in the middle that is decorated with traditional symbols and motifs. The shape of the medallion is mimicked throughout the field on a warm tomato red color. The festive borders complete the design beautifully. This lovely Persian rug has a very thick wool pile and feels soft under feet.
