Persian Gabbeh rugs are authentic handwoven rugs made by tribal artisans in Fars Province of Persia. Being made of Hand Spun Wool and coarser knots, Gabbeh is extremely thicker version of a Persian Rug.
The featured Gabbeh rug is made by Qashqai tribe in Persia. It has a minimal design. The field is virgin wool color, and the design is finished by simple borders in blue tones. There are color changes within the field called “Abrash” which comes from different batches of wool. This results in stunning stripes of different tones in one color.
This abstract Gabbeh rug could be an ideal addition to a living room, and it will add warmth to any space.
