Persian Gabbeh rugs are authentic handwoven rugs made by tribal people in Fars Province of Persia. Being made of Hand Spun Wool and coarser knots, Gabbeh is an extremely thicker version of a Persian Rug.
The plain field features a single animal motif with an abstract inner frame in the corners. The wide outer borders have gorgeous animal and human motifs completing the design beautifully. This stunning Gabbeh is a lovely example of Abrash. There are color changes within the field called “Abrash” which comes from different batches of wool and organic dyes. This results in stunning stripes of different tones in one color. This unique piece of art will bring joy and comfort to your space.
This abstract Gabbeh rug could be an ideal addition for large living areas or kids’ room.
