Persian Gabbeh rugs are authentic handwoven rugs made by tribal people in Fars Province of Persia. Being made of Hand Spun Wool and coarser knots, Gabbeh is extremely thicker version of a Persian Rug.
The featured Vintage Gabbeh Rug is made in Persia by Qashqai tribe. The diamond design creates a gorgeous modern look on the plain field. There are three butterflies sitting proudly in the middle of diamonds. The charming design of the borders add movement and completes the design beautifully. The selection of colors in this beautiful Gabbeh rug gives her a unique character. The color palette includes ivory field with contrasting charcoal medallion and finished by pops of bright colors in borders. There are color changes within the field called “Abrash” which comes from different batches of wool. This results in stunning stripes of different tones in one color.
This rare design Gabbeh rug could be an ideal addition to any interior and it will add warmth to any space.
