Unique Turkish rug with history of several decades and rich design. Rare finds for those who like to add the charm of ancient times to their space.
This is a vintage Turkish rug hand-knotted in Turkey in 1960-70s. In this admirable piece, the field features an all-over floral pattern that is unique to central Turkey. The field color on this low pile wool rug is ivory with pops of muted green, burgundy and chocolate tones in floral details. The borders create a stunning frame around field on olive green color. Due to the nap of the wool, the rug looks lighter in one end and darker in the other end.
This rug is truly a piece of floor art to create amazing interior with its natural beauty.

Our vintage rugs are sustainable products as they are made of pure wool and organic/vegetable dyes. There are color changes within the field called “Abrash” which comes from different batches of wool and organic dyes. This results in stunning stripes of different tones in one color.
Vintage rugs in our collection are in great condition. Based on their age signs of wear or imperfection are to be expected. We believe that this is part of their unique charm. All of our vintage rugs are freshly washed and repaired in case it needs.
