The featured rug is hand-knotted by tribal people from Shiraz, Persia. The design of the field includes three geometric medallions in the middle that is decorated with traditional animal and plant symbols. The field features the tree of life motif on either side of the medallions as well as distinct animal symbols including birds and deer. This gorgeous composition is brought to life with a warm color palette that includes a rich red tone as the background color. The details in the motifs are in ivory, rustic orange and navy-blue colors. This lovely Persian rug has a very thick wool pile and feels soft under feet.
